Cedar Planter Boxes with String-Light Posts

Use one or two as standalone planter posts with hanging plants, lanterns, or other outdoor accents—or combine four to create a complete string-light setup around a patio or fire pit. Each planter includes an installed black hook for a string-light connection or hanging plant and a 4×4 solar-powered LED post-cap light. The planter interior is left unstained so the natural cedar remains visible.

BUILT FOR OUTDOOR USE

All of our planter boxes are assembled with stainless steel nails and exterior, weather-rated screws to help improve outdoor durability and help them last longer. We also apply weather-protectant stain to the exterior of the planters.

NATURAL CEDAR INTERIORS

All of our builds leave the planter interior unstained, so the inside remains natural cedar wood.

One planter, two planters, or a complete four-piece setup.

The tall post is useful even when you do not need four planters for string lights. Every planter includes both an installed black hook for plants, string lights, or other décor and a solar LED post-cap light on top. The examples below show a few ways the planter can be used.

Each planter includes an installed black hook or bracket for LED string lights, a hanging plant basket, a lantern, a bird feeder, or other outdoor décor. Our recommended example is the 12-inch AILIN YELOKIE black metal plant hanger.

Solar LED post-cap light

Each planter also includes a solar LED post-cap light installed on top of the post for a clean finished look. We use a fit-tested style that pairs well with the planter.

Every cedar planter box with a post includes one installed black post hook and one solar LED post-cap light. Hanging baskets, lanterns, plants, bird feeders, string lights, and other décor shown are styling examples unless specifically listed.
